Danny Jaffer There is no question that we are at a cross roads, and not just within Polk County. We are at an intersection of new and old, technology and natural resource, jobs and livability. With the proper forethought, with long term goals focused with short term necessities, we can continue to keep Polk County a great place, and make it even better. With my background, education and experience, I believe that I can help lead Polk County to greater horizons. We are all in this great place together.

Jackie Pierce

Jackie Pierce is running for Oregon Senate District 10. She is known for her honesty, integrity, and hard work. Jackie Pierce will be a strong advocate for all Oregonians.
Jackie has over 25 years as a social worker and as a community volunteer for such organizations as the World Beat Festival, Friends of Bush Park, and the American Red Cross. She was a Member of Marion, Polk, Yamhill Counties Labor Council. She worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker, at Oregon State Hospital 1989-2006; at Fairview Training Center 1987-1989 ; and with Navy and Air Force Family Services Centers 1983-1986. She and her husband, Al Pierce, live in West Salem.
