Ron Dodge felt he ran a successful campaign, however, the voters did not re-elect him to a third term as County Commissioner, Pos. 3. This was Ron's last effort for public office.

Danny Jaffer campaigned vigorously, and still lost a bid for County Commissioner, Pos. 2.  He had signs all over Polk County and attended many events to introduce himself to the voters.

Jackie Pierce, Democratic candidate for the state Senate, Dist. 10, entered the race late, but also ran a spirited campaign with expert advice from her manager, Chris Proudfoot. She was endorsed by several unions, held house parties and other public events. Jackie, too, was not elected running against Jackie Winters.

OFFICER REPORTS:

The Get Out The Vote (GOTV) phone banking and canvassing in the few weeks before the election was well attended by many volunteers.

Chris Proudfoot reported on the number and party affiliation of  voters contacted.
